2nd Menstrual Hygiene Seminar

I’m pleased to share that today we had a successful visit to M C High School at Hatgobindopur, Burdwan. We conducted a seminar. It was focused on Menstrual Hygiene, an essential topic for the well-being of young women. Our event was honored by the presence of First Lady Sumita Kaur, who graciously supported our efforts. We were fortunate to have Rotarian Dr. Pallavi Maji and Rotarian Dr. Puja Bannerjee as our speakers. Their insights and expertise greatly enriched the seminar and provided valuable knowledge to the students. Approximately 200 female students attended the seminar. Understanding menstrual hygiene is crucial as it empowers young women with knowledge about their health, promotes dignity, and helps to break down stigmas associated with menstruation.
