Flood Relief Camp at Bampur, Amarpur

The Rotary Club of Agartala and Rotary Club of Greater Silchar jointly organised one flood relief camp at Bampur, Amarpur on 22nd September and distributed study materials and packaged food items to 100 children of the locality. As all of us are aware that Amarpur subdivision is badly affected by the recent flood and many of the children have lost their study materials to continue their classes. Keeping this in mind, the two clubs jointly organized the distribution program in an attempt to help the flood affected children who are particularly in need of various study materials. Exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, pencil cutter, pencil boxes along with packeted milk were distributed in the camp.
Rtn. Priyanath Das, Rtn.Dr. Dipankar Prakash Bhaumik, Rtn. Ashim Chakraborty, and Rtn. Dr. Bidhan Goswami, Secretary attended the distribution program. The volunteers from Nabadiganta Welfare Society helped in organising the program.
