NATION BUILDER AWARDS 2024

Rotary Club of Tezpur, RID 3240, Organized the Nation Builder Award Presentation ceremony on 30th September 2024 at Hotel Cygnett Imperial Inn, Tezpur, where 16 Teachers from 15 different Government Schools were awarded the Nation Builder Award for their Excellence in teaching practices and abilities to shape the future generation of our Country. Along with the teachers 15 Principals were also felicitated and a Certificate of Appreciation was given to them for their participation in the Evaluation process laid down by the Rotary Literacy Mission.
Smt. Sarmishta Neog, ACS, Circle Officer (Attach) Was present as the Chief Guest of the Event. Mam spoke about the importance of teachers in building this nation and how a good teacher can lay the foundation for an ordinary student to achieve success and touch the sky.
President of Rotary Club of Tezpur Rtn. Vaibhav Agarwal thanked the principals and the teachers for their contribution in the nation building, Project Chairman Rtn. Ratnadal Sharma explained the transparency of the evaluation process and the efforts made by the Rotarians to complete this exercise and identify the best teacher form each school.
Amongst others Asst. Governor RID 3240 Rtn. Mukul Bothra, Rtn. Ritesh Misruf, Rtn. Madan Mohan Singh, Rtn. Dr. Suren Gogoi, Rtn. Sushil Golcha, Rtn. Pradeep Jain, Rtn. Diganta Chakraborty, Rtn. Dr. Navadal Sharma, Rtn. Shashank Tibrewal were present at the event along with the team of Rotaract club of Agnigarh, who played an instrumental part in conducting the survey and doing the ground work along with the team of Rotarians.
The Teachers and Principals were verry Emotional and shared their feeling and said that Rotary is the only Organization which does such a noble work of motivating the teachers and making them proud for the work done by them and giving them importance and making realize their importance in the nation building process.
