Blood donation camp

On September 8th, 2024,the President and members of the Rotary Club of Silchar, in collaboration with RCC members, Rotaract members, and the Cachar Cancer Hospital Society, organized a Mega Blood Donation and Awareness Camp.
This was the first phase of our goal to collect at least 100 units, we remain hopeful and determined to achieve this target within the Rota Year. We will continue organizing similar blood donation camps in various phases over the coming months.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the employees of IDFC Bank, who generously sponsored 100 refreshment packets and have assured us of 30 donors for the second phase of our blood donation camp. Special thanks also go to all the members who were present today, particularly Rtn Dr. Bablu Banik, who attended the event and graciously accepted our token of appreciation as a doctor member of our club.

Lastly, we would like to acknowledge and commend today's project chairman, Rtn Chiranjit Ghosh, for his hard work and dedication in organizing such a significant event.
