National Nutrition Week, observed annually from September 1 to 7, is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of nutrition. This week focuses on educating individuals and communities about healthy eating and making informed nutritional choices.
The subject for this year is “Nutritious Diets for Everyone”. This year's theme is based on the goals that the United Nations has set for maintaining sustainable development. Its main goal is to promote diets that satisfy individuals' nutritional demands at every stage of life.
To mark this occasion, an interactive session was organised in ANC and PNC clinic of Digboi CHC where focus on locally available nutrients were highlighted. - DIGBOI CHC
