NATION BUILDERS’ AWARD

Rotary Club of Digboi Honors Educators at a Grand Teachers' Day Celebration with Nation Builder Award.

The Rotary Club of Digboi proudly hosted an exceptional Teachers' Day felicitation program on September 6, 2024. Held at Adarsh Seuj Prakalpa and served as a heartfelt tribute to the dedicated educators who shape the future of countless students.
Started with a Borgeet, followed by ceremonial lamp lighting,
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Srijut Samarendra Bhagawati, ex Principal, Digboi College. Rtn Rashmi Patowary,
Literacy Chair gave an overview of Nation Builders Awards.
The awardees are as follow:
Mrs Nomita Das : Digboi High School
Mrs Dharitri Handique : Soumar Vidyapith
Mrs Sushmita Bora : Rashtriya Vidyalaya
Sri Sumit Das : janata vidyalaya
Sri Hirokjyoti Saikia : Vivekananda Vidyalaya

Chief Guest awarded them with a Phoolam gamoosa, the certificate and a memento. In house teachers were also appreciated with gifts. Dr Dipen Borthakur was awarded the District Certificate on Mental Health Program.

Sri S. Bhagawati remarked, “This celebration is a tribute to the incredible dedication and passion of our educators. Their commitment to nurturing young minds is truly commendable.”

The evening was marked by enlightening speeches and heartfelt tributes, celebrating the dedication of educators and a beautiful dance by Rotarylet Kuvika .
Vote of thanks was offered by Rtn Urmi Sharma Goswami.
The event concluded with a delightful dinner, offering a warm setting for further discussions on educational advancement and community support.
