Nation Builder Awards presented by Rotary Club of Guwahati Smart City

Nation Builder Award 2024 presented
Rotary Club of Guwahati Smart City in a largely attended function presented Nation Builder Award 2024 to six teachers of Government aided schools of Guwahati for their outstanding contribution in teaching students. The meeting was presided over by President Dr. B.P. Todi. The awards were presented by the Chief Guest Shri R.C. Jain Chairman, Assam State School Education Board in presence of Chairman Literacy Shri Mantu Paul and Secretary Priyanka Das besides number of dignitaries. The recipients of the awards are Gitika Das from Ulubari Higher Secondary School, Arun Sharma from Kaliram Barua Girls High School, Parul Baisya from Sonaram Higher Secondary school, Bhupen Gogoi from Fatashil Sishu Bidyapith M.E.School, Charan Begum from Sabitri Bharali High School and Kunjalata Mahanta from Bengali Higher Secondary School. The Chief Guest in his address lauded the role of Rotary Club of Guwahati Smart City for presenting the award and expressed happiness that such award would encourage the recipients and others to discharge their duties sincerely and dedicatedly for upliftment of students for betterment of society. Shri Dipak Kumar Sarma, IAS (Retd), Shri Sankar Prasad Nandy, IAS (Retd) and Madhuchandra Bhattacharjee amongst others addressed the gathering on the occasion.
