CHILDREN’S DAY

RC Digboi celebrated Children 's Day at
04 no. Pawai Prarthomik Vidyalaya with a host of activities. An Art Competition was conducted among the school children in 02 categories - group A ( classes I to III) and group B ( classes iv and v ). The programme started by offering rich tributes to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru whose birthday is celebrated as Children's Day all over India. Students performed songs and dances after which they were given gifts and stationery items and winners of the Art Competition were awarded with attractive prizes. Sweaters were also distributed among the children.It was a delight to see the smiling faces of these happy children. The children were also provided a hearty lunch . The programme ended with happy memories of joyful moments of these young children on the auspicious occasion of Children's Day. President Rtn Dr. Nirza Saikia, Rtn Simi Dhanowar, Rtn Santanu Roy, Rtn Poli Rani Bora and Rtn Trilok Gupta attended the program.
