World Disabled Day observation

On December 3, 2024, World Disabled Day was observed by the Rotary Club of Silchar. Vice President Rtn. Taimur Raja Chaudhury and Service Project Director Rtn. Dipak Das represented the club by participating at an event organized by Ujjibon Spastic Society, Barak Valley, Silchar. Rtn Sameer Bose and Rtn SB Dutta were also present. The day was marked with various programs performed by differently-abled children from the society’s special daycare school. As part of the celebration, President Rtn. Suramita Roy Podder sponsored 80 lunch packets for the children with special needs.
