Poush Mela

Poush Mela at Bengali High School
On January 4th and 5th, the Bengali High School hosted the Poush Mela, a vibrant cultural event. Rotary Club (RC) Guwahati participated by setting up a stall promoting eye donation pledges and showcasing various items, including:

- Organic pickles, jams, and squash
- Traditional Gamochas
- Other local specialties

The event saw around 9 individuals pledge to donate their eyes after death. The organic items on display received an overwhelmingly positive response.

Cultural Programs and Stalls
The mela featured a diverse range of cultural programs, food stalls, and vendors selling clothing and ethnic items. This initiative was spearheaded by our President, Pami Das.
