Clothes and Ration Kits distribution

The President and members of the Rotary Club of Silchar, in collaboration with the Indian Food Banking Network under the Rotary Permanent Food Bank initiative, distributed ration kits to the underprivileged residents of very remote villages of Tejpur, Riang Punji at Bhuban Valley in Cachar District. Volunteers from the Ramkrishna Vivekananda Society also assisted in the distribution. The entire distribution program was supervised by the Club Service Project Chairman Rtn Dipak Das . Total 55 bags of ration kits comprising Rice, Lentils, cooking oil , spices, biscuits etc were distributed. Additionally, clothes from the Rotary Club’s Clothes Bank were distributed to the community.
