Rs. 1 Lakh donation Jongksha Health Centre

Project Description:--:
The President, Rtn. Antony War alongwith the Secretary Rtn Dr. Abir Suchiang and Rtn Barnabas Nongbah visited the Health Centre at Jongksha on 12th May, 2025. The main purpose of the visit is to hand over an amount of 1,00000/- (One Lakh Rupees) for utilisation in buying medicines and other requirements by the health centre. Rs.80000/- was donated by Rtn Sanju Choudhury for the Jongksha health centre and 20,000/- from the club fund.

During the visit to the health centre it was seen that it was well maintained and it was good to see the logo of the RCOCS displayed on the pillows and bed covers inside the centre.

Most patients who come to get medical facilities are within 10 Kms radius. The patients who seek medical help are economically poor and due to this many patients are malnourished and prone to illness. Many a times they cannot even pay for the medicines.

After interacting with the nurse, she thanked the Rotary Club of Orchid City for the monetary contribution and also for the support from time to time.
