Rotary Club of Dimapur Gifts Play Area to VBIDH School

On 30th June 2025, marking the culmination of a year of dedicated service, the Rotary Club of Dimapur proudly gifted a play area to the children of VBIDH School. This meaningful initiative, completed on the very last day of the Rotary year, stands as a testament to the club’s unwavering commitment to child development, education, and community welfare.
The newly developed play area, equipped with swings, slides, see-saws, and other safe and engaging recreational equipment, was inaugurated in the presence of Rotary members, school staff, and joyful students. The project aims to provide the children—many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds—with a joyful, healthy, and stimulating environment that contributes to their physical and social development.
The President of the Rotary Club of Dimapur, in his remarks during the brief handover ceremony, emphasized the importance of holistic education that goes beyond academics. “A child’s growth is not complete without play. This play area will help promote happiness, fitness, and bonding among the students,” he said.
The school authorities expressed deep gratitude to the Rotary Club for this thoughtful and timely gift, acknowledging how such contributions uplift the spirit of the institution and positively impact the lives of the children.
As the final project of the Rotary year 2024–25, the gifting of the play area symbolizes the club’s enduring focus on sustainability, child welfare, and creating lasting change in the community.
