The Rotary Club of Agartala City organized a Mental Health Awareness Programme at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School, focusing on the well-being of students from Classes XI and XII.
The session was enriched by the presence of Rotarian speakers Rtn Subhashish Kar and Rtn Sumanta Chakrabarty, who shared insightful presentations and personal life experiences that deeply resonated with the young audience. Their talks aimed to break the stigma around mental health and encouraged students to speak up, seek help, and prioritize emotional wellness.
Club President 2024-25, Rtn Dr. Nihar Ranjan Das, also addressed the gathering, reinforcing the importance of mental health in academic and personal growth.
During the vote of thanks, Club Secretary 2024-25, Rtn Ashish Sen, emphasized the crucial role of parents in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of their children. He expressed a strong desire to see more proactive involvement from families in creating a safe and understanding environment for the youth.
