Annapurna – free meals to the needy

"Service to man is service to God"- following this mantra Rotary Club of Agartala City had taken a commendable initiative to take a project to serve the mankind. The club started to distribute free food for the people in need outside the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Agartala from 1st July 2022. Rotary Club of Agartala City in association with local restaurant and private organisations running this free food distribution drive where Rotary club ensures to provide quality food by maintaining all hygiene protocols. The place of distribution of food had been choosen after a survey. Here the homeless people, the rickshaw pullers, abandoned people even the poor patient and their attendants can avail this service. The fund for this project is taken care by the Rotarians and their family and friends. This project is helping the people to have good quality meal for free of cost everyday for last 1 year.
