Assistance to visually impaired group

Blankets distribution programme by Rotary Club of Durgapur Central on 1st Feb 2025.
The Rotary Club of Durgapur Central had organized blankets & food packets distribution programme on 1st Feb 2025 near Durgapur railway station for 40 visually challenged people from lower-income groups who were invited from nearby town , Purulia by a NGO. This NGO is being looked after by Ms. Arpana, a kind woman who is blind herself. In addition to providing blankets and snack packages, others groups brought umbrellas, mosquito nets, and utensils at the event. The Mayor of Durgapur , Ms. Anindita Roy was also present during the programme at Durgapour Railway Station. Rtn Anuja Agarwal, President ; Rtn Subrata Chatterjee , Rtn Malabika Mukherjee & Rtn Manju Chandak of Rotary Club of Durgapur central were present.
