Assistance Towards the Deceased Family

In a touching act of compassion, the family of the late Mr. Samir Kumar Chakraborty reached out to our club with a request to facilitate an eye donation. Although Mr. Chakraborty had not pledged his eyes earlier, Rotarian Shirsendu Sadhu took the initiative to honor their wishes. Doctors from Burdwan Medical College arrived promptly and conducted the eye donation procedure in the presence of the family. This act not only fulfilled a heartfelt wish of the family but also contributed to a noble cause, reflecting our commitment to service and support in times of need.
