Report on District Conference “Tilottoma”

The President and members of RC Silchar participated in the District Conference Tilottoma held from 10th January to 12th January 2025 at Nicco Park, Kolkata. A delegation of 28 members from RC Silchar attended this well-organized and meticulously planned event.

We are proud to share the following notable achievements of RC Silchar during the conference:
1. Recognitions for Contributions to the PULL Endowment Fund:
• Rtn Suramita Roy Podder, Rtn Dr. D.J. Nath, and Rtn Nilesh Agarwal received appreciation from District Governor (DG) Sukhminder Singh, District Rotary Foundation Chair (DRFC) Subhashish Chatterjee, and RIPR Debasish Mishra for their contributions to the PULL Endowment Fund.
2. Certificate of Recognition for Polio Fund Contribution:
• RC Silchar was honored as the 3rd club in the district to achieve 100% member contribution to the Polio Fund (minimum $10 per member).
3. Recognition for Slogans Showcasing Rotary’s 7 Areas of Focus:
• Slogans written and submitted by President Rtn Suramita Roy Podder were selected and secured two spots on the billboard highlighting Rotary’s 7 Areas of Focus during the conference.
4. Appreciation for Chief Patron Contribution:
• Rtn Chiranjit Ghosh of RC Silchar was recognized and awarded for his valuable support as one of the chief patrons of the District Conference.

It gives us immense pride to have received these honors and to represent RC Silchar in such a prestigious event.
