AWARENESS PROGRAM CONDUCTED WITH FRONT LINE HEALTH WORKERS REGARDING POILO AND FELICITATION OF FRONT LINE WORKERS.

We, The Rotary Club of Siliguri Umeed honored the frontline health workers who works on grassroot level in the hills area. We have chosen hills area because they traverse difficult terrains as compared to low sea level areas. We had observed the program on 24th October,2024 along with frontline health workers and local dwellers, who came there along with their small children. The program started followed by The National Anthem. One of the member Dr. Moumita Ghosh who is a doctor by profession guided them how to protect their children from any kind of severe disease. After that we organized several activities including a small round of quiz on the same topic where all the mother's participated very enthusiastically. We distributed some gifts and sweets among the little kids. President Sanjeeb Thakur explains them what Rotary is and how this respective organization helps society from the last 119 years. We closed the program by presenting "End Polio Now" certificates to those front-line health workers who work tirelessly for securing a healthier future for generations to come.
