AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON BREAST FEEDING

The Rotary Club of Hailakandi organized an awareness program on the benefits of breastfeeding at the postnatal unit of S.K. Roy Civil Hospital, Hailakandi, on 07/08/24in observance of Breastfeeding Week (1st-7th August). The event aimed to educate new mothers about the advantages of breastfeeding for both infants and mothers. Informative posters highlighting these benefits were displayed throughout the postnatal unit. The program was attended by the Superintendent of the hospital and a pediatrician, who contributed to the discussions and emphasized the importance of breastfeeding for healthy child development.
The Superintendent along with a paediatrician of the hospital was also present.
