CERVICAL CANCER & PREVENTION- TALKING THE TRUTH AND BREAKING THE MYTHS

Rotary Club of Tezpur, organized an awareness meeting on Cervical Cancer and Prevention today, August 4, 2024.

The event, themed "Talking the Truth and Breaking the Myths," was inaugurated by Ex-MLA of Tezpur LAC, Shri Brindaban Goswami. District Commissioner Shri Deba Kumar Mishra, along with District Commissioner of Biswanath Dr. Neha Yadav, Oncologist Dr. Venkata Pradeep Babu, and Gynaecologist Dr. Sumita Gogoi Hazarika, addressed crucial doubts about cervical cancer, debunked myths, discussed HPV vaccination, and highlighted available government support.

The meeting saw the participation of around 200 individuals, including Asha Workers, Health Officials, and Army Jawans.
