Today, the 14th November, 2024, Children's Day was celebrated by Rotary Club Of Agartala City at Sishu Tirtha School, College Tila, Agartala. Sri Rajib Bhattacharjee, Hon'ble member of Rajya Sabha was the Chief Guest of the program. There was sit and draw compitition among the students of the school. Twenty-five students participated in the competition and they were provided with drawing materials. Prizes were given to 5 children in each group and consolation prizes were given to all. Chocolate, biscuits and cake was distributed to all children. Health education was given to the parents by Rtn Dr Nihar Ranjan Das regarding general health, Rtn Dr Ananya Das regarding dental health and Dr Ramkrishna Paul regarding eye health. Health checkup was done for all the 72 students present and free medicines were given where needed. President RCAC has donated one weighing machine to the school and Rtn Dr Achintya Bhattacharya, has sponsored all the prizes of sit and draw compitition. The program was a grand success.
