Distribution of Certificates to the Adult Literates

As per the Rotary India Literacy Mission initiative, the Rotary Club of Golaghat successfully completed the Adult Literacy Programme at Golghat District Jail. In this program, the illiterate inmates of Golaghat district jail were taught by the club members of RC Golaghat as well as some appointed volunteers. After the program, all the adult students appeared for the examination and successfully passed it. the completion certificate of the successful adult literates was handed over on 4th August 2024. In this program, besides the club members of the RC Golaghat, the superintendent of the Golaghat District Jail, the Jailer and the assistant jailer also grace the occasion. A total of 24 adult literates were handed over their course completion certificate.
