Distribution Of Woollen Sweaters Shoes and Socks 26 Needy Students

  • Today, the Rotary Club of Gauhati South successfully organized a distribution program under the T-E-A-C-H project at Narakasur Jr. Basic School, Kahilipara. The initiative provided woolen sweaters, shoes, and socks to 26 underprivileged students, as per the list provided by the school.

    The event commenced with a warm welcome from Mrs. Dipika Devi, the school headmistress. Rtn. Gayatri Bhattacharyya inaugurated the program with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Following this, Rtn. Anjana C. Saikia elaborated on the objectives of the initiative.

    During the program, members of the Rotary Club distributed the items to each student. The school authorities and the student’s guardians expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful gesture extended by the club.

    The event also featured a delightful cultural performance by the students, adding a vibrant and cheerful touch to the program.
