In continuation of our effort to help the needy flood effected people of the state, the members of Rotary Club of Agartala tried to help about 150 people who took shelter at Sri Krishna Nitai Gour Ashram, Sonamura Chowmuhani, Udaipur about 65 kms away from the capital city of Agartala. As the shelter camp was still surrounded by the flooded water, the relief materials were carried through boats or a certain distance. RCA distributed rice, Dal, Soyabean, drinking water bottles , Britannia cakes and Milk to the people taken shelter there. The local volunteers under the able leadership of Er. Subrata was the guiding force in organizing the relief camp. From Rotary Club of Agartala secretary, Rtn. Dr. Bidhan Goswami, Rtn. Dr. Sarbani Debbarman, Rtn. Priyanath Das, Rtn. Sujit Chanda, Rtn. Kisalay Ghosh were present. From NIT Alumni Agartala, President, Rtn. Swapan Bhawmik and other members were present.
