Free Diabetes Detection Camp

Under the chairmanship of Dr. D. R. Sharma, the Rotary Club of Dimapur successfully organized a free Diabetes Detection Camp on 4th December 2024 at two key locations: Medicare Health Home and Agarwal Scan Lab. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about diabetes, its early detection, and management. A total of 154 patients from diverse backgrounds participated in the camp, availing themselves of free diabetes screening services.

The camp also provided expert consultations led by Dr. D. R. Sharma and Dr. Nitin Agarwal, who guided patients on diabetes prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options. The event reflected Rotary’s dedication to promoting community health and addressing the growing concern of diabetes in the region. The overwhelming response from the public highlighted the need for such initiatives and reinforced the importance of preventive healthcare in combating lifestyle diseases.
