Happy school

The Rotary Guwahati Luit's Happy School project inauguration is a remarkable achievement! With the esteemed presence of District Governor Rtn. Sukhmindar Singh and DLCC Rtn Partha Phukan and AG Rtn Pranjal Mena, this initiative is truly special.

The Happy School project aims to transform government or government-aided schools into safe, attractive, and inspiring learning environments. By meeting all 9 components outlined by the Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM), your team has demonstrated exceptional dedication ¹.

The 9 components include:

- *Infrastructure Upgrades*: Painting and repairing the school building, including damp classroom walls
- *Sanitation Facilities*: Separate toilets for boys, girls, and teachers, along with proper handwashing stations
- *Water Facilities*: Clean and adequate drinking water facilities
- *Educational Resources*: Library and provision of play materials for students
- staffroom
- School bag and uniform
Around 15 member of club were present including President Pami Das, Secretary Mona Shah and Literacy Chair Devrati Roy.

This project's impact will be felt for years to come, creating a brighter and happier future for the students and the community. Kudos to everyone involved!
