As all of us are aware that lot of people have been affected by the recent devastating flood in our state. Although the water levels of many of the rivers have come below the danger level by this time but the loss caused to the people is huge. As the people residing in flood affected areas are prone to have many health-related issues in days to come, the Rotary Club of Agartala conducted one Health Camp at Jirtali Higher Secondary School, Belonia on 01.09.2024. In the health camp 110 individuals were given medical advice & free medicines were distributed among them. Maximum patients complained of skin problems following the gastrointestinal problems. Bleaching powder was given and direction for use as circulated by NHM, Gomoti district in local language was also given for purifying water sources and household surroundings. Rtn. Dr. Bidhan Goswami and Rtn. Dr. Subal Debnath, Rtn. Dr. Sarbani Debbarman gave their services in the camp. Rtn. Er. Priyanath Das, Rtn. Kisalay Ghosh, Rtn. Sujit Chanda and Rtn. Asim Chakraborty helped in the camp.
