Health camp at Bampur,Amarpur among flood affected people

As the Amarpur Subdivision of Gomoti District is badly suffered area following the recent flood, the Rotary club of Agartala and Rotary Club of Greater Silchar also jointly organiszd one health camp in the area on 22nd September and free medicines were given to about 150 beneficiaries. Many of the medical help seekers were suffering from skin problems in lower limbs due to bare footed walking on flood affected areas. Apart from skin diseases, gastrointestinal and respiratory problems were also noted.
Bleaching powder along with direction for use in local language (xerox copies) were given for water and surface disinfection. The camp was attended by Rtn. Priyanath Das, Rtn.Dr. Dipankar Prakash Bhaumik, Rtn. Ashim Chakraborty, and Rtn. Dr. Bidhan Goswami( Secretary). The volunteers from Nabadiganta Welfare Society and teachers, staff and students helped in organizing the health camp.
