Health camp at Kalabari Anganwadi Centre, Bamutia

On 6th October one Mega Health Camp was organized at Khalabari Anganwadi Centre, East Bamutia Panchayat, Bamutia RD Block. Doctors from different specialties like Medicine, Paediatrics, Orthopedics, Diabetology, Ophthalmology attended the camp and gave their valuable services. About 150 patients were treated in the camp. Blood tests like Blood Sugar, HbA1C, Uric acid & Haemoglobin were tested in the camp itself and reports were generated. Free medicines were also provided in the camp. Medical education on safe motherhood and basic sanitation was given to the mother and children present in the camp. The camp was jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Agartala, Indian Medical Association (West Tripura Branch), Suman Foundation & All Tripura Diabetic Forum and financial assistance was also provided by the RID 3240.
Rtn. Dr. Subal DebNath, Rtn. Dr. Dipankar Prakash Bhowmik, Rtn. Bidhan Goswami, Rtn. Subir Bhowmik and Dr. Susanta Sen provided services in the camp. From Suman Foundation & Indian Medical Association (West Tripura Branch) Dr. Dipankar Prakash Bhowmik were present. Dr. Susanta Sen, the president of All Tripura Diabetic Forum was there to represent their association.
Apart from them, Rtn. Priyanath Das, Rtn. Kisalay Ghosh were also present to help. Volunteers of all the association and the whole East Bamutia Panchayat under the leadership OF THE Pradhan HELPED IN CONDUCTING THE CAMP.
