Although water level in many areas had receded but the devastating affects of the recent flood was visible everywhere and the sufferings of the people are beyond imagination. The post flood scenario of the affected areas are the fertile land to spread various water borne diseases. Keeping it in mind, the Rotary Club of Agartala organized one health camp at Paschim Pilak Higher Secondary School on 1st September to address the immediate medical assistance to prevent potential health issues in post flood situation. Many individuals reported with skin problem, gastrointestinal issues and respiratory illness. All were provided with free medication. Bleaching powder along with direction of use in local language (leaflets) were distributed amongst the localities. About 110 patients were treated in the camp.
