Observation of ‘World Plastic Surgery Day’ (15th July’2024):

World Plastic Surgery Day-2024’ on the theme ‘Restore Life after Burns’ was organised by the Department of Plastic Surgery, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal on 15th July’2024, at RIMS, Imphal supported by Rotary Club of Imphal.
• Past President Rtn. Dr. Kh. Palin Singh was the Chief Guest of the programme in which Prof. Aribam Sunil Kumar Sharma, Director, RIMS, Imphal, Rtn. (Prof) Nepram Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Imphal & Rtn. Saratchandra Phijam, President, Rotary Club of Imphal were the presidium members of the programme.
• Gift items were handed over to about 20 persons who had undergone corrective surgeries. Later, sweets were distributed to the in-house patients undergoing treatment for burns in the department.
• The programme was widely covered by print and electronic media of the state.
