Operation VAN DURGA- DONATION OF HEALTH KITS

KAZIRANGAOn Sunday, 22nd June 2025, the Rotary Club of Guwahati Icons, theRotary Club of Tezpur, and the Rotary Club of Golaghat Elegance jointlyorganised a Health Camp and Financial Literacy Programme for thefemale forest guards (বন দু দুৰ্গা) of the Kaziranga Wildlife Range. The eventwas held from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and aimed to support the healthand financial well-being of these dedicated forest protectors.During the Health Camp, participants received basic medical checkupsand vital health advice, while the Financial Literacy session providedimportant guidance on savings, budgeting, and personal financialplanning. Health care kits were also distributed to all the participants asa gesture of appreciation for their tireless commitment to preserving therich biodiversity of Kaziranga.The initiative was warmly received and highlighted the collectivecommitment of the Rotary Clubs involved to support and empower localcommunities in meaningful and sustainable ways.
