ORS Week Celebration

R C Silchar in collaboration with IAP , Barak Valley Branch , organised an awareness program to observe ORS day and ORS week . It’s a Project on Maternal and Child Health . The program was organised at a very remote Village of Chuto Dudhpatil in Cachar District ,on 28th July, 2024 under the leadership of Club Vice President Rtn Dr Anjan Paul and his team of IAP doctors . Doctors present were Rtn Dr Anjan Paul, Rtn Dr DJ Nath , Rtn Dr Priyanka Deb , Dr S. K Roy and Dr. Pinaki Chakraborty, they aware the audience regarding importance of drinking ORS during diarrhoea , how to prevent diarrhoea, how to make home made ORS, how to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, importance of having clean drinking water , how to have healthy home made food to avoid dehydration in children. Later a good amount of ORS packets were distributed amongst children and mothers present. A large number of mother and child were present. Volunteers from RCC Chuto Dudhpatil Unnayan Sangstha were also present and managed the program.
