Pre Christmas and Advance New year celebration

RC Jowai celebrate Pre Christmas and New Year with the inmates of Halfway Home @ Sabah Muswang West Jaintia Hills district on the 24 th December 2024 where warm clothes and other gifts were distributed to the residents of the above mentioned institution.. Halfway Home is a Rehabilitation institution for the mentally challenged run by the Society For Urban & Rural Empowerment ( SURE).During our interaction with the patients, we noticed some of them started becoming very friendly with us and we were told that this happened because some of us, perhaps resembles someone they knew back home and also because we were bringing them gifts and food to eat. And despite not having any idea of who they are or where they come from anymore, yet have shown us all what it means to have Hope, Joy and Peace during this Magical time of Christmas.
