Pre Christmas Celebration Rotary Club Shillong Heritage

The Rotary Club Shillong Heritage celebrated Christmas on December 17, 2024, with 12 members, 9 guests, Rotarylets and Anns in attendance. Christmas is a time to reflect on love, compassion, and togetherness. For many, it signifies the birth of Jesus Christ, bringing hope, peace, and the opportunity to embrace the values of goodwill and generosity. Our celebration was a reminder of these values, as we gathered to share in the joy of the season and spread warmth to our Rotary family.
The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony and the distribution of gifts to Rotarylets, Anns, and Rotarians. Despite President Rtn. Vikash Chokhani’s absence due to health concerns, his guidance ensured that the event was a success. Under his leadership, the spirit of Christmas continued to shine through.
The celebration was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Rtn. Prashant Goenka, our Treasurer, who provided the food and arrangements. Rtn. Marnie sponsored the cakes and gifts, while President Rtn. Vikash contributed chocolates, decorations, and beverages to ensure a delightful atmosphere for all.
This event highlighted the importance of unity, kindness, and spreading joy, capturing the true essence of Christmas. It was a heartwarming gathering that brought our Rotary family together, celebrating not only the holiday but also the values that connect us all.
