Rotary Club of Guwahati Brings Joy to Assam Sishu Kalyan Sadan

31st January 2024, Guwahati: To mark the conclusion of the year, the Rotary Club of Guwahati organized a heartwarming event at Assam Sishu Kalyan Sadan. The initiative aimed to spread joy and ensure that the 21 children residing at the Sadan felt included and cherished.

A team of dedicated members, including President Pranab Kr. Choudhary, Anne Prof Kamala Chaudhury, Anupam Aich, Sudhanya Biswas, Meghmala Choudhary, PDG Prabhat Kedia, Sunandan Dowerah, Rohini Pran Changkakati, Mousumi Bhattacharjee, and Manash Sarma visited the Sadan. The members generously contributed various eatables to the children, creating a festive and cheerful atmosphere.

In a thoughtful gesture, the club decided to forego their regular RWM (Rotary Weekly Meeting) at the club premises and instead assembled at the Sadan to celebrate the new year with the children. This act of kindness ensured that the children did not feel left out on this special day and brought smiles to their faces.

The event highlighted the Rotary Club's commitment to community service and its efforts to bring happiness to those in need. The visit ended on a joyous note, with both the children and members cherishing the memorable moments shared together.
