Project under RAGMHI on Child PSYCHOLOGY

An AWARENESS PROGRAM on CHILD PSYCHOLOGY was arranged by LIONS CLUB of Silchar Valley View, jointly with ROTARY CLUB OF SILCHAR at Central Senior Secondary School, Park Road, Silchar at the Premises of Axom Sahitya Sabha on the 25th of January 2025, at 11 AM.

Renowned Child Specialist of the Valley Rotarian Dr D J Nath was the resource person and keynote speaker at the event along with Rotarian Priyatanu Goswami, Rotarian Samir Bose, Rtn Debarshi Paul Choudhury, and Rtn Mahin Mazumder.

During his deliberation, Dr Nath emphasized the importance of the influence of family, school, society, culture, and the environment on the psychological development as a child grows from infancy to adulthood. He stressed upon the role of parents, school teachers, and NGOs in imparting good values to the growing children so that we may have a good society free from crime.
There were good interactions between the parents, and many of their queries were nicely explained.

The Rotary Club of Silchar has conducted this impactful project under the Mental Health Initiatives of the District 3240 Chapter of the Rotary Action Group.

Including retired IAS officer Bimalendu Bhattacharjee, other speakers were from the Lions Club, School authorities, and a few other eminent personalities of the valley. Rotarian Priyatanu Goswami, Rotarian Samir Bose, Rtn Debarshi Paul Choudhury, and Rtn Mahin Mazumder, Prashanta Bhattacharjee, Biswarupa Bhattacharjee were amongst the others who were present at the event.
