RARE BLOOD UNIT ARRANGED FOR SOLDIERS

A truck carrying personnel of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), on December 20 met with an accident near Toribari, in Zuluk, leaving three critically injured. The injured were Airlifted to MH Bengdubi thereafter at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital ,Siliguri for further treatment.

Rotary Club Of Siliguri Umeed got into immediate action as soon as we were contacted by them at midnight 1:00 am for arranging Blood. They required 5 units of AB- BLOOD and 4 units of AB- PLASMA ,which was arranged through the Rotary and Lions Blood Centre of Siliguri .We also arranged for a donor and emergency financial support through our club.

With god's blessings both the injured soldiers are recovering.
