Ration distribution to the fllood vicims at Jirtali, Belonia, South Tripua

The Rotary Club of Agartala has continued its efforts to extend supports to those affected by the recent flood in the state by organizing regular flood relief camps. Although the water level in the rivers has receded but the devastating impact on local communities remained severe, leaving many in need of supports.
Rotary Club of Agartala on 1st September organized one flood relief camp at Jirtali Higher Secondary School, Belonia and distributed rice, gamcha, maggi packets, buiscuits and clothes to about 150 beneficiaries.
Additionally, cash financial assistance was provided to two families whose homes were totally destroyed by the recent flood.
Key members the club who were present on the occasion are Rtn. Dr. Bidhan Goswami, Rtn.Dr. Subal Debnath, Rtn. Dr. Sarbani Debbarman and Rtn. Priyanath Das, Rtn. Sujit Chanda, Rtn. Kisalay Ghosh, Rtn. Asim Chakraborty.

Food materials, clothes were donated by members and their well wishers
