Ration kit distribution at Nepali Basti

Project Description:--:
Today i.e on 01/12/24, the Rotary Club of Agartala organized one Ration kits Distribution program at Nepalibasti, Debendranagar about 18 km from the capital city of Agartala. With the help of India Food Banking Network (IFBN), fifty packets of ration kits containing rice, dal, masala, salt, oil etc were distributed among fifty beneficiaries.
Club secretary, Rtn. Dr. Bidhan Goswami, PP, Rtn.Swapan Bhaumik and local volunteers helped in organizing the distribution program. The program started at 8.00 am and first secretary explained the role of Rotary, its commitment towards ‘service above self’ and various projects taken up by Rotary, its role in eradicating Polio etc. Following this Rtn. Swapan Bhaumik explained the role of Rotary in rendering various humanitarian services. After that the kits were distributed in the presence of local public representative and volunteers.
