Ration kits distribution at Konaban

As part of Rotary's commitment to serve the underprivileged section of the society, Rotary Club of Agartala organised one Ration kits distribution program today at Konaban under Kamalasagar. Fifty packets containing rice, dal, salt, masala, oil etc were distributed among the beneficiaries. The local MLA, Honb'le Smt. Antara Sarkar Deb along with two Gram pradhans was present. In her short speech she thanked ROTARY CLUB OF AGARTALA for organizing such a distribution program at Konaban. She also expressed her satisfaction in various activities taken up by the rotary on different occasions. The role of the Rotary Club of Agartala during the Flood affected time was well appreciated by all the dignitaries present there. The Rotarians present in the distribution program emphasized Rotary's various services and presented a road map for coming days. Enthusiasm among the locals was noteworthy. Rtn. Er. Priyanath Das, Rtn. Dr. Sarbani Debbarman, Rtn. Sukanta Goswami, Rtn. Asim Chakraborty and Rtn. Kisalay Ghosh were present during the program.
