Relief Camp for Fire Victims

In a mission of compassion and solidarity, the Rotary Club of Dimapur extended relief assistance to over 1,000 families affected by a devastating fire in Lhomithi Colony and Naharbari area on 7th January 2025. Their efforts provided immediate support through the distribution of essential supplies, ration kits, and financial aid to those in need.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the club swiftly organized and distributed ration kits containing rice, potatoes, and dal, ensuring that affected families had access to basic necessities during this challenging time. Additionally, financial assistance was provided to help victims meet their immediate needs, offering a crucial lifeline to those who had lost their belongings in the disaster.
Members of the Rotary Club of Dimapur personally visited the affected areas to assess the damage, engage with the victims, and offer words of encouragement. Beyond material and financial aid, their presence brought comfort and reassurance to those struggling to rebuild their lives.
