Review and survey of Installation Projects of “Water ,Sanitation & Hygiene”

A Project review of the different previous Installations related to “Water, Sanitation and
Hygiene”.
In March 2025, Rotary's theme was "Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene” focusing on improving
access to clean water and sanitation facilities, and promoting good hygiene practices to create
healthier communities.
Key Actions: Rotary clubs and members focused on projects that:
➢ # Provided clean water (by building wells, installing rainwater harvesting systems
etc.),
➢ Improved sanitation (by improving sanitation facilities, providing toilets and latrines
etc.),
➢ Promoted hygiene (by adding education programs to promote handwashing and other
good hygiene habits).
RC of Durgapur Smart City have already complied above instructions at various corners of the
society during previous few years, which were...
1. Sant Nirankari School: Two Water Cooler come Filter Machines
2. Bijra High School: One Water Filter Machine.
3. Sagarbhanga Youth Club under RCC: One Water Cooler cum Filter Machine.
4. Jemua Bhadubala Vidyapeeth: 5 no Bio Toilets.
5. Santiniketan Polytechnic: 4 no Bio Toilets.
6. Simultala Sisu Sikha Kendra: One no Group Hand Washing Station.
7. Bankim Chandra Sishu Siksha Kendra, Bholapars: One Group Hand Washing Platform
and Waste Water Drainage system.
8. Bijra Primary School: One Group Hand Washing Station.
we review all the previous cases in respect of
functioning of machineries and utility of the same by students meaningfully.
