‘Rotary Tree Plantation Programme’ (21st July’2024):

• Rotary Club of Imphal organised a mass tree plantation program today, 21st July'2024, Sunday at Babina Multi Speciality Hospital, Sajiwa, Imphal East in which about 172 avenue trees & fruit bearing trees were planted. Program ended with a breakfast sponsored by Past President Rtn Dr Dhabali. The tree plantation programme was organised on the theme ‘Save Mother Earth’ as a continuing community service project of the club.
• Rtn. Saratchandra Singh, President of the club said that the club has been planting trees across the state every year and appealed everyone to plant trees to save our environment. Trees make the environment cleaner and provide us with oxygen. The main purpose of tree plantation is to save the environment and to beautify our surroundings. Trees are valuable gifts of nature. They are known as the best friends of human beings. They benefit us in various ways. Today’s programme will make areas around the hospital cleaner and fill with fresh air.
