Sanitary pad distribution at Adarsha Balika Vidyapith

The Rotary Club of Duliajan launched an important initiative to support the school girls of Adarsha Balika Vidyapith by distributing sanitary napkins, aiming to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene and proper care. The project focuses on educating the girls about the menstrual cycle, the hygiene they need to maintain, and how to properly use sanitary napkins for their health and well-being. Additionally, the program includes guidance on the handling and disposal of sanitary napkins to ensure a sustainable and clean environment.
The program was officially kicked off in the presence of DG Rtn. Shukminder Singh, the First Lady Ann Sumita Singh, and AG Rtn. Shailesh Sarma of RID 3240, along with other Rotary Club and Inner Wheel members. The event highlighted the importance of maintaining personal hygiene during menstruation and ensuring that these underprivileged girls have the resources they need to live healthy, dignified lives.

The Rotary Club of Duliajan also assured ongoing support for the supply of sanitary pads, ensuring that these girls have access to the essential products they need, empowering them to lead a healthy and hygienic life moving forward. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a positive impact in the community by addressing essential health and hygiene needs.
