Scholarship Support for Underprivileged Students in Computer Training

On 3rd April 2025, the Rotary Club of Dimapur provided scholarships to underprivileged students to pursue professional computer training courses at A to Z Computer Institute, a reputed training center in Dimapur. This initiative is part of the club’s ongoing mission to empower youth through education and skill development.
The selected students, coming from economically weaker backgrounds, received full sponsorship covering course fees, study materials, and other necessary support. The training program at A to Z Computer Institute is designed to equip them with essential digital skills that are increasingly vital in today’s job market.
Club President Rtn. Monoj Bhattacharjee expressed that the project aims to bridge the digital divide and help students become self-reliant and employable. He added, “Digital skills open doors to opportunities, and we want these students to step confidently into a better future.”
The Rotary Club of Dimapur plans to follow up with the students' progress and explore opportunities to expand the program in the future to include advanced courses and career guidance.
