Seminar and Campaign on Pulmonary Illness and Air Pollution Eradication in Durgapur

The Rotary Club of Durgapur Central and IQ City Medical College & Hospital have organized a seminar and campaign to address pulmonary and respiratory illnesses linked to air pollution. The event, attended by dignitaries like Shri Kabi Dutta, Dr. Rintu Guha Neogi, Dr. Neerja Shastri, and Rotarian Nirmalya Ghosh, aimed to raise public awareness and promote collaborative action towards a healthier environment. In the seminar, Dr Prashant Kumar of I Q City Hospital highlighted the alarming increase in respiratory diseases linked to air pollution and emphasized the importance of active individual and community participation in reducing pollution levels. The event also highlighted the need for eco-friendly practices, increased green cover, and reduced emissions from industrial and vehicular sources.
