Service above Self – Distribution of Food kits among the flood affected people

The flood situation in tripura remains critical and it is deteriorating . Incessant shawers since last Sunday midnight wreaking havoc in the state. Embankment walls of all the major rivers of the state have been breached due to heavy rainfall, flooding habitataio, towns,villages and the capitall city. More thank 35000 affected people have been relocated in relief camps across the state. Govt has arranged two times meal and water for the proteges. We the Rotarians of Rotary Club of Agartala City allong with it’s two sponsored Rotaract club, RAC Agartala Central and RAC Agartala City had taken an initiative to distribute dry foods in 2 relief camps at Agartala. We distribted Bread,biscuits, Banana, drinking water, Milk, Sugar, puffed Rice. For the second phase relief work our club is planning to conduct health camp and if needed other necessary supports will be proided depending upon the gravity of the situation.
