"SOMMAN" Rotary Excellence Award was organized by RC Greater Silchar yesterday. A memorable event graced by honorable MLA Silchar Shri Dipayan Chakraborty as Chief Guest. Guest of Honours included the President of District Sports Association Silchar PAG Rtn Shibabrata Dutta, Prominent Print Media personality PAG Rtn Taimur Raja Choudhury and Prominent Doctor K P Chakraborty who cares for Cancer Patients without taking a penny for decades. In his speech Club President Rtn. Joyjit Biswas highlighted the projects done by RC Greater Silchar throughout RY 2024-25. All the guests spoke about and lauded the commendable work done by the Club. The awards were handed over to 25 exceptional personalities and groups. The categories included Divyangan, Sportsmen, Sport Administrators and Clubs, Journalists, Nurse, Sangeet Guru,Social Activist,NGOs. Blood Donors, Friends of Rotary, and SAKSHAM NGO
